State Senate Candidate Forum Sept. 30 in Acton

A candidate forum for the Middlesex and Worcester State Senate seat will feature James Eldridge, the Democratic incumbent, and Timothy Shea, Republican.

The forum will be held Wednesday, Sept. 30, at 7 p.m. in the Acton Town Hall, 472 Main St., and is free and open to the public. There will also be a livestream of the forum, available here on Acton’s cable website. The public can submit questions for the candidates at the forum.

The Leagues of Women Voters of Acton Area, Harvard, Sudbury and Wayland are sponsoring the event. Moderator is Margaret Coppe of the Lexington League.

The forum will be recorded, and cable access stations in the towns in the Senate district will show the forum on cable and via video-on-demand when the program is available in early October. The link will be provided as soon as the program is available on SudburyTV.

The election will be held Tuesday, Nov. 3.
