The League of Women Voters of Sudbury has compiled a Voters' Guide for the Water District election as a service to voters.

The Voters' Guide gathers basic candidate details and asks candidates to answer this question:

"What are the first two issues you would address if elected, and how would you address them?"

Occupation: Engineer – Director of Capital Project Management, Framingham DPW

What are the first two issues you would address if elected, and how would you address them?

The District’s highest priorities are removing PFAS and replacing outdated infrastructure. We must balance continued implementation of PFAS treatment – a very costly and recent addition to capital improvement planning – with replacement of aged water mains and the 90-year-old Goodman Hill Storage Tank. I’ll continue to address issues as a hands-on Commissioner, contributing insights from my experience as a water systems engineer and helping create cost-effective ways to address the District’s priorities. That will include reviewing short- and long-term plans and collaborating in making decisions on issues presented at biweekly meetings and the more-frequent informal conversations with staff.
